Looking at the CHIPS on the Table Webinar (August 11, 2022)
Weighing in at over 1,050 pages, the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 is expected to have a major impact on numerous facets of the U.S. science and technology landscape, including manufacturing, support of innovation, STEM education, promotion of more inclusive and diverse research and research settings, along with additional efforts aimed at increasing research security. COGR is pleased to present this webinar providing an overview of the Act, with a particular focus on areas of interest to COGR members. Although many details of the Act’s implementation remain to be sorted out, we hope that this session will help members become acquainted with the Act’s provisions, as well as provide time for raising questions and concerns about the Act’s provisions.
