COGR's 2023-2024 Year in Review (Released August 13, 2024)
We celebrated COGR’s 75th anniversary this past year. We recognized our origins as a committee of NACUBO, a history of achievements, and the organization as we know it today – an indispensable association of over 200 research institutions in which a professional staff works closely with volunteer experts who comprise our four standing committees and board of directors. We also affirmed our resolve to use our expertise to advocate for effective, efficient, and harmonized federal research policies and regulations.
COGR’s history parallels that of the research partnership between the federal government and research institutions. As the partnership continues to evolve and mature, so does COGR. Today, our work is as important as ever to the strength of the partnership and its consequences for our nation’s health, security, and economic prosperity.
We look forward to the upcoming academic year and thank you for being part of the COGR community. Your institution’s support of COGR makes the important work of the association on behalf of our 220 member institutions possible.
